HD 01-02 Eye Drilling Machine
The machine HD 01-02 is designed for drilling small round holes, or for milling small oblong shaped holes, in both straight and bended tube material with small tube diameters.

The drill motor unit is easily moved up and down for swift change of hole drills punches. The stop position of the drilling head can be precisely adjusted to allow for drilling of multi lumen tubes. The tube is manually placed into a tube jig. By pressing the start bottom, the drill or trepan is automatically fed into the tube, whereby the hole is drilled. Depending on tube and jig type, the tube jig is manually turned. Several holes can be drilled in the same tube. The jigs are easily replaced for different tube sizes and hole pattern. As an option, the machine can be supplied with an XY table, for fine adjustment of the jig position. The eye drilling can be done with either spiral drills or with hole punch drills. If using a hole punch drill, the add-on drill waste detection system can automatically collect and register waste. This ensures that waste does not remain in the tube. Drill waste is removed by a connected vacuum system.
Production capacity:
The production capacity is between 300-500 units per hour. Depending on the size of the tube and
the experience of the operator.

HD 02-03 – Automatic micro eye drilling
The machine HD 02-03 is designed for automatic drilling of multiple small eyes.

The machine HD 02-03 is designed for automatic drilling of multiple small eyes.
Eye patterns can be distributed on the R rotation and the linear Z-axis. The PLC can contain 50 different product recipes. Each recipe can contain up to 50 eye positions, where pattern of rotation and linear position can be stored. Recipes can be stored, edited and loaded from the touch color display.
If required, the machine can also be used for manual drilling of e.g. pigtail catheters. Drill jigs is easily changed, to account for difference in CH size and tube shape.
The drill motor unit can be effortlessly moved vertically, for quick change of hole drill punches. The stop position of the drilling head is adjustable in depth to allow drilling of multi lumen tubes.
The eye drilling can be done with either spiral drills or with hole punch drills. If using a hole punch drill, the waste can be collected and registered automatically. Thereby ensuring residues remain inside the tube. Drill waste is removed by a connected vacuum system.
The tube is fixed in the tube grip fixture using a predefined zero point. Once the tube is positioned, the operator can start the drilling process. This is done by pressing the pushbutton.

The production capacity is dependent on the tube material and size as well as the experience of
the operator. The eye drill operation is 1.5 sec.

BO 02-03/04 – Multiple eye drilling
The drilling machine is designed to drill 3 or 4 x eyes in a rigid thermoplastic materiel.
Product Description
The drilling machine is designed to drill 3 or 4 x eyes in a rigid thermoplastic materiel.
The eyes are positioned 60 / 90 degrees to each other, and with a minimum distance between upper and lower eye pattern. The raw tube is inserted vertical into the machine, after operation start the drilling process will continues automatically. As an extra feature, it can be selected if only upper or lower eye pattern shout be drilled. The drilling machine must be connected to a vacuum filter pump, to evacuate the drill shavings.
Production capacity:
The eye drilling machine has a production rate between 300 – 600 units per hour, depending upon
the material thickness and the experience of the operator.
Tube specifications:
The eyes can be drilled in most hard thermoplastics from CH 8 to CH 42.
Installation:
The eye drilling machine is connected to 1x230V AC 50-60Hz 10A and min. 8 bar
clean and dry compressed air.
Environment:

VP 03-01 – Vacuum filter and Pump
With the vacuum pump, production waste such as punch or drill waste can be sucked away from the connected production equipment.
Product Description
With the vacuum pump, production waste such as punch or drill waste can be sucked away from the connected production equipment.
The production equipment and the vacuum pump are connected via a vacuum hose. The punch and drill waste is sucked away and trapped into a filter housing, located on the rear side of the vacuum pump housing. The Vacuum pump is located inside the Stainless Steel housing, the flow and pressure specification of the vacuum pump is chosen depending on the connected production equipment. Depending of the production and waste type, the filter must be cleaned regularly. To clean the filter, the vacuum pump must be turned off, and the filter housing can be screwed of and cleaned.
The power switch is located on the front of the Vacuum pump housing. Depending on control
system on the connected production equipment, the vacuum pump is turned on manually or will be
turned on automatically with your production equipment.
Installation
Space requirement for the vacuum pump: Length app. 600mm, width 300mm, height 300mm.
