PP 51-00 - TOP PUNCH PRESS - LATERAL EYES

With the punching press PP 51-00, 2 top cut lateral eyes are punched in disposable medical catheters.

With the punching press PP 51-00, 2 top cut lateral eyes are punched in disposable medical catheters.

This is done to prevent the open catheter tip to stick to the mucous membrane, or on the closed tip catheter to allow the drainage function of the catheter. Due to the punch design, the eyes can be punched after the tip forming.

The eye is punched from the top, which leaves a small mark on the inside of the tube. This mark is a quality sign, conforming that the punch excess has been removed from tube.

The punching tools are mounted in a pneumatic driven punch press and are operated by a foot pedal. An electrical switch system can be supplied as an option.

To remove the punch excess, the punching tool has to be connected to both a filter housing and a vacuum pump.

Environment

It is recommended to operate the machine in a clean environment.
